The Illustration Friday word of the week is TROUBLE. I have a couple of projects going on so I didn't really think I had the time to participate this week, but this illustration is one of the projects I was working on. If you had a carton of eggs on your kitchen counter and baby dragons started hatching out of them, I think you would have some kind of trouble. I did this illustration to go along with this little guy
who I finished quite some time ago. I'm currently working on two more compositions to make a nice little set for my portfolio.
Awesome illustration! I love the detailing on the dragons and the expression on the face of the dragon on the second image, he looks so lost and little. I know it would end in a world of trouble but think I'd be quite excited if baby dragons started hatching in my kitchen ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I checked out your doodle page and loved them! That is quite a big task to take on. I had a sketch-a-day sketchbook a couple of years ago that I tried to keep up on. I think I was nearly 90 days short of the goal but I ended up with a bucket full of ideas for future projects AND improved my drawing skills! I commend you for your efforts. Best wishes!
DeleteWhat fun! Such beautiful, rich color, light and animated expressions. It makes me want to do a double- check on the eggs in the fridge, just to make sure nothing's hatching!
